In Slatina, Prysmian built and operates the largest optical fiber factory in Europe, which has become a global production point for the entire company.
Prysmian is now in the process of opening an IT Center of Excellence, which will be responsible for implementing the global IT agenda. To achieve this, we concluded partnerships with prestigious universities in Romania and started the recruitment project as well as the first steps of integration of the first employees.
60 positions will be available within the center by March 2023. The new Center of Excellence focuses on recruitment in the three areas of expertise: Business application, IT Infrastructure and SAP.
In recent years, Prysmian has invested over 60 million euros in Romania and has 1,500 jobs in the four factories and the local office. We want to complete the 60 positions for graduates of the Center of Excellence by March 2023, with the new employees going through the next level, a 3-month academic program with the possibility to access different training programs and opportunities at the level of the entire Prysmian group.
This campaign is part of a larger recruitment campaign targeting an additional 60 mid-level and senior IT professionals.
